A new and exciting non-profit organization! We are here to facilitate the expansion of quality midwifery care in North America and around the world. Our mission is twofold:
1) Student Program--offering low-interest loans to student midwives attending an accredited midwifery program in the United States or Canada.
2) Birth Center Program--offering low-interest loans to midwives and their advocates to establish a free standing birth center.
Our non-profit 501(c) status is currently in progress and we hope to hear from the IRS very soon.
We are currently accepting donations for the Student Program. Our goal is to provide tuition to at least five students for the 2010 school year.
The Birth Center Program will begin in 2010.
